Rocks Have Feelings Too

Rocks.jpg
A few students from my last EQ class gave me these wonderful rocks as gifts. Thanks Alicia, Connie, Ron, Jenn and Kevin!

Why rocks?

You see, a few of the questions on the emotional intelligence test they took (the MSCEIT) asked them to identify emotions on faces, in art and in landscapes. One of those landscape pictures is a beach full of large stones, and nearly everyone has a reaction to that picture! Well, I happen to love stones -- they are, after all, the earth's bones and full of wisdom. I collect and display them all over my house, and I told them so.

Next thing I know, they find stones (I don't even know from where!) and painted four of the seven core emotions we discuss during training...and the four that I shorthand as "sad, mad, glad and afraid."

I was so touched. They took the time to tie the learning and me together and out came this lovely gift.

Isn't empathy great?

I commented about my rocks i communicate with them because i believe that they have life just as plants, animals, and water has life and all have feelings.
Thank you Stay happy.

whenever i find a nice stone at beach on street, etc i ask if it would like to come home with me and most say yes. one said no and tol me to place it under a TREE WHICH I DID. THE OTHER ROCKS ARE ALL OVER MY HOUSE AND I PLACE THEM IN CERTAIN OPEN CONTAINERS WITH EACH OTHER SO THEY HAVE COMPAnhy. one day i saw a gorgeous big yellow rock and i felt so much energy from it but i couldn't have it so i told the universe i wanted one so i found a small one on ebay and i was so excited i bid on it and won it has been cut into a ball bjut it still has such nice energhy. i keep it next to me at my compujter and i nhold it several times a day and talk to it. i know i am losing it bjut it's ok i am happy with these rocks (smiling)
