Technology: Which Browser Are You Using?

I've been using Mozilla for at least a year now and will tell anyone who will listen (and anyone who surfs the internet for more than an hour a day), that it's the browser of choice. Why? Among just some great features: no pop-ups, it remembers username and passwords for any site you tell it to (no more forgetting obscure site logins), and awesome bookmark features, just to name a few.

Another reason: "security experts are recommending people ditch Microsoft's Internet Explorer and seek an alternate browser." See article for full details about browser alternatives.

I don't miss IE either. However, I do still keep IE on my computer because every once in a while (rarely), Mozilla isn't compatible with some websites. For example, Shutterfly (an online photo website where you can upload digital photographs and share them with others) hasn't built in Mozilla compatibility.

I'm still searching for how to make my bookmarks available offline, the only feature I adore about IE. I thought Mozilla offered that, but with further research, I believe they are only talking about how to make mail available offline. In any case, I'm not sure, so if you find anything on making web pages available offline with Mozilla, let me know.

Thanks for your comment!

I listen about a year ago too, switched to Mozilla Firefox and never missed Internet Explorer.

In addition to the features you list, I especially like "tabbed browsing." More and more these days I find myself connected to multiple websites. Using the tabs, I can instantly get to a half-a-dozen sites or more.
